Season

2nd April is looming,

Today, the backs freaking stepped up. Playing close to their potential and if they progress exponentially like today, damn they'd be freaking good this season.

It's been awhile since I spent the night thinking away, and the last few days doing so has been extra productive. Finding my directions in life, goals, regrets and aspirations.

Season

12 more days to the season, and I blew up at training. Must've been the flue but what I did was dejavu, very similar to a dream I had days ago.

Last 6 games under the green black white wing.

Lasting through the game, to make it last.

Last ditch at it, maybe last ditch to impress myself.

End on a high, at least for yourself

Econs

I'm done with organic chem revision. Will look through the reactions once again tmr morning. Gonna start on physical chem soon. Do a few chem equilibrium, ionic, acid base and solubility and then off I am to memorize the stinkin definitions for Chem energetics.

Econs today was seriously fucked up. Actually studied recession but because of lack of practice I took damn long to write the essay. Plus, i started with part b first thus explaining the fact that I illustrated recession in Part b when it should effectively been there at part a. Part A is a goner. anything more than 4.. hah agh fuck econs.

I've been spending the last few days in school in the library in an attempt to study for Common Tests. Spending up to 12 hours in school clocking up to 9-10 hours of studying at a time. Looking at long term results. Not too concerned on what I get for common tests 1 really but I'm really really concerned on whats coming for Alevels.
So far I've completed
Chemistry: Intro, Alkanes, Alkenes, Arenes, Chem, Ionic and Solubility Equilibria
Math: Integration, Binomial Expansion, P&C, Vectors 1
Econs: Market Structure
Bio: -
Wow, now I'm left with
Chem: Energetics
Math: App. Integration, Vectors 2
Econs: KEI, AE-Income Determinants, International Trade
Bio: All 24 lecture notes..
Dont give a shit about bio.
Another fantastic Friday of super 14s, Hurricanes Vs Brumbies, Battle of the Backrowers definitely!
Masoe, Collins and So'ialo for Hurricanes, George Smith and Hoile for Brumbies.
Masoe triumphant over Hoile today man.

Weekends

You should seriously see this guy and his handoffs. Super powerful.

Been spending the past 2 days watching super 14s. Exhilirating to say the least. Interesting to see Dan Carter and Matt Giteu plying their trades so effectively and the emergence of new names i've not heard of. Nice to see fluid play, non-rigidity in their structure(ironically)

Studying been such a bore but I've got motivation to do well! and to do well i must!

Holidays

The holidays are here, but like the holidays we had last year, cept year end, its spent studying our asses off for Common Test 1 2008. Not helping that there's training almost every other day next week.

When you got 2hrs to study everyday you wished you had more, when you get 12, still not enough. Ah, life as a student sucks, the studying bit that is. Have not been productive at all, hope tonights steers a turning point! (thats what i say everytime!)

Was watching the Super 14s today and their game was indeed physical but didnt look fitnessly demanding. I'm super unfit now and my knee is acting up again. I dont know how much I want to make this last year count. ):

I've made a decision. After JC, probably gonna stop playing rugby. OR at least go for a long hiatus. Will definitely want to coach though!

Optimism

The uncertainty of the future, gives hope and meaning to life. Optimism, thats the way to go in life. Faced with setbacks, not knowing the final outcome gives you hope that there's better days to come.
